How do we get a Texas Instruments Software Field Engineer in house?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430F5638

I have called TI, they said talk to Arrow, Arrow had no idea and said call TI. How do we get a TI Software Consultant in house to implement software on the MSP430?

  • What?, you want to hire a person who knows how to program a msp430?

You want the chip seller, arrow or TI etc provide you with one of their company personnel?,
if you have 1million budget they probably can work something out.

  • yes. Yes, we want TI backed software engineer for a short term in house programming assignment.

No, I called the TI contact phone number and they said I have to request that through arrow or avnet or etc. I was like ummmmm ok? They had no idea what the TI person was talking about. So now I am here asking how to make that happen. We have a budget but a millie for a couple weeks is Elon Musk ridic
  • I was referring to that your product will end up using TI parts with a budget of a million $ for that alone and can be proven by accounting.
I can then see that TI will go out of their way to accommodate you, but for smaller projects you probably just gone have to hire a independent contractor. Pretty sure putting an ad here on the forum will be OK, I may even be interested (Florida)

  • Ameristar®, based in Tulsa, Okla., is the largest ornamental fence manufacturer in the world. Accounting for accounting is not a problem. See the current "MSP430F5638 Interrupt Storm despite clearing P1IFG" posting on here for examples of what you will be helping our current software engineer with. You will be responsible for getting the Ethernet stack up and running while we work on fine motor control.
  • Jeff,

Thank you for using TI's MSP430. If Tony can help with this project - great. If Tony is not a good fit for your current need or for any future need that may pop up, you can also select a TI design network partner here: http://www.ti.com/devnet/docs/catalog/searchproductresults.tsp

Best of luck with your design.

    Jason
