MSP430 for TPM(Trusted protection module)

Expert 2355 points

Now I try to make Security module with MSP430 like TPM.

TPM means Trusted Protection Module

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trusted_Platform_Module#TPM_hardware

I are not particular  about TPM, but our module will be certified EAL5+ as below MSP430.

Is ther any solution about TPM,ELA5+?

Best regards,

  • Hello Kyt,

Unfortunately, TI does not have an MCU, including MSP430, that is CC certified, not even to EAL3+. We also do not have any TPM certified solutions. From my understanding, you cannot certify a TPM with an existing MCU (no matter where this MCU comes from). It must be a TPM specific device from one of the usual vendors. You may of course develop a TPM and not certify it, but I am not sure what the value of that would be.
