MSP432 availability

Hi guys,

i have a question due to the new MSP432-Chip.

At the moment i just found the evaluation board on the distributer pages but not the chip itself .

One thread in this forum said that the new release will start not before next year...is that right?

or has anything changed there ?

another question... do somebody know if TI has a guarantee of delivery for the msp432 for the next years??

Most all semi firms avoid such, "guarantees." If you are a "huge volume user" there may be exceptions - but for most (i.e. likely all) here - the answer would be no. (or the guarantee would be for a (relatively) short duration.

Can someone from TI please provide an update about production availability for the MSP432? I see Launchpad boards available through distributors, but no stock on the processors themselves. Is this really in production, since it is now after 2Q2016?

Hi Scott,
MSP432P401R/M in 100-pin QFP were released to production. You can order production samples from TI store today, or place production order through your distributor(s).
