MSP4305510 I2C at 1.8V.

We are currently using the MSP4305510.  We also use the IC2 in a 3.3V system. We want to I2C for 1.8V devices, table page 38 contains 2.2V & 3V for VCC, however, the datasheet states 1.8 to 3.6V operation. We are currently using a 4MHz system clock frequency(Page 18 states that for 1.8V – 2.0V supply, can only have up to 8MHz clk freq).  I think that it is probably ok to go down to 1.8 volt supply for the MSP430 and use the I2C at 1.8V, but I wanted to have some clarification before I consider making the change.
