Hi,

i need a programmer for msp430, Im planning to develop a board which will have msp430g2553, i need a circuit for programmer.

I don't want to use launchpad.

Also, Is it possible to program msp430g2553 using another msp430g2553 ??

I think you mean "I don't want to put my MCU in launchpad to program the chip", do you? You can use launchpad as external programmer. Use Spy-Bi wire than UART. For UART you will have to write your own bootloader

The MSP430G2553 has UART BSL. See “MSP430 Programming Via the Bootstrap Loader User's Guide” SLAU319.
