Hey Team,

I am looking for a MCU with two DACs and I2C.

Preferably one that can meet the following specs:
- 8 to 16 GPIO ports.
- at least 2 DACs. Prefer 10 bits, but can settle for 8 bits.
- May want an ADC, but that is optional.
- If it has a good built-in temp sensor that would be a bonus.
- I2C interface should run off 1.8V, but the DACs need to run off 3.3V.
- smallest package possible.

I have come across the MSP430F2618. Are there other options with dual DACs?

If it suits to you, you can use a Timer PWM to generate an analogue signal up to 16-bit, and when selecting a MCU with VIO, up to 5V.

your problem might be this combination:

- I2C interface should run off 1.8V, but the DACs need to run off 3.3V

There are a lot MCUs that have two 12 bit DACs, 16 GPIOs and a multichannel ADC with built in temperature sensor. Furthermore parts from the MSP430F5x series have 1.8V I/O, for example. And some of this series also have DACs, but both in combination...I don't think so, but I'm not entirely sure, so as Leo said, do a parametric search. If I remember correctly, your selected MSP430F2618 has two 12 bit DACs, but no 1.8V I/O.

Bidirectional level translator IC could be solution here. Other option would be - run whole msp430 and it' s DAC at 2.2V and shift DAC outputs to 3.3V swing using opamps.
