TI development boards supported by Parse cloud

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC3200, MSP430F5529

I was going through parse website :- parse.com/apps/quickstart#embedded and I came to know that CC3200 development board is supported by it. Is it only this board which can be used to upload data on parse cloud or others boards are there? If there is any other board or any other technique to do please tell me.

  • Hi Neeraj,

As long as your TI Launchpad can connect to the internet, you can upload data to Parse. You need to incorporate Parse SDK to your program.

I made a blog post about Parse quickstart and CC3200. See, my blog link at my signature.

  • Hi Markel,

Thank you so much for your reply. It is really a great help. I have a MSP430F5529 launchpad and a esp8266 wifi module. So I can use PARSE right? Please correct me if  I am wrong.

I was searching through some website and I want to ask you one more question that PARSE also supports ARDUINO ZERO board, but that is expensive for my project. So similar to TI is it possible to connect ARDUINO UNO board and esp8266 wifi module to update data on PARSE.

    Thank You

    Yes, using PARSE SDK.

I would recommend that you use TI CC3200 Launchpad instead.

  • Hi Neeraj,

I am not very knowledgeable with the use of MSP430F5529 launchpad + esp8266 wifi module. So, I can't give expert advice regarding that.
