MSP430F2618 information memory ADC12

I have found examples on how to restore the DCO calibration constants in Seg A when erased (!), but ADC12 calibration constants are still off. Any recommendations/references  on how to recalculate the ADC constants?

  • The User's Guide says:

The temperature sensor is calibrated using the internal voltage references. Each reference voltage (1.5 V and 2.5 V) contains a measured value for two temperatures, 30°C±2°C and 85°C±2°C and are stored in the TLV structure at the respective SegmentA location.

So you just have to do measurements while the chip is at these temperatures. (How accurate is your toaster? ;-)

  • Hi,

I am not interested in calibrating the internal temperature sensor, but the gain and offset of the ADC.  Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, though.  The user's guide has a lot of great information on how to calibrate the 1.5V and 2.5V references, and the offset and gain of the ADC.

    Cheers.
