Chronos Radio Debug issue

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC430F6137

Hi,

I'm developing a simple application with the chronos (CC430f6137), I need to send a simple data packet via OOK. I have configured all the registers using SmartRF studio 7 tool.

I started my project on cc430 RF example (slac525a).

The problem is that when I debug the program the radio doesn't work, but when I leave alone the clock (with the battery) all start to work properly.

Some advise ?

Thanks !

  • Hi Tommaso,

When you refer to leaving alone the clock, do you mean changing clock registers or simply letting the device run without using breakpoints/halting? It makes sense the the radio will not communicate correctly if you interrupt operation during an important phase of the application, such as sending a data packet.

    Regards,
    Ryan
