MSP430 - for Military/Space/automobile applications

Hi,

Can MSP430 u-controllers be used in space applications?  I understand that TI does not guarantee that, but I was wondering if someone here has used it in satellite or military applications, or where can I find the information.  Or is there any military/automobile version of MSP430?  Thanks.
