Which version of IAR supports MSP-FET Flash Emulation Tool?

Hi,

Are you planning on using the latest version of IAR? IAR should have no problem supporting MSP-FET.

Hi Sean,

I'm using IAR MSP430 version 5.60.5 It is not the latest but it should be about a year old. IAR-Kikstarter won't work for me since my code size is larger than the limitation. Do you know which IAR version suports the MSP-FET Flash Emulation Tool? I can use the MSP-FET 430UIF for now but I have two units of the MSP-FET Flash Emulation Tools that are useless to me at the moment.

Hello,

Consulting the release notes for different versions of IAR, netstorage.iar.com/.../release_notes.ENU.html
Version 6.10.1 is the update that enables use of the MSP-FET, so any version after that should work.
