Analog input channel selection for 10 bit ADC for MSP430F6779

Hello,

I am getting some confusion in description provided in different documents.

MSP430F6779 has 6 channel 10 bit ADC but in selection parameter in User guide as well as header file MSP430F6779.h there is 16 channel from (A0-A15) so let me know which channel corresponds to my analog pins. Is there any guide which gives me data of Pin to channel connection.

Thank you dear Dennis Eichmann (3534089) ,

I have gone through datasheet but in header file there is given 16 different selection for ADC that's why I was confused.

And its User guide for programming also shows the same thing so that..:)

This user's guide covers all MSP430x5xx and MSP430x6xx processors - it is a general document for the two device families. The datasheet for a specific processor always has the last word.
