Hello,
The symbol/footprint links on the main pages of the 55xx parts are not activated. Does this mean TI is "working on" providing symbols/footprints? Since many of these parts have been out for a long time, I'm not holding my breath?
I've found the BGA-80 layout files on the TI website, but would have preferred the schematic symbol as well. Is it correct that my only option is to create my own symbol within OrCad manually? I'm starting with the 5514, then going to the 5510 once it reaches general availability.
Why wouldn't TI provide this service by default on all ICs - seems a nice way to generate good will within the community (who doesn't have a need for schematic symbols after all?)
