Hi Everyone,

I am looking for a simple example circuit for CEC to I2C using MSP430F20x2 controller can anyone provide sample circuit for reference.Thanks in advance..

Hi Ashok,

SLAA377 includes a sample circuit on Figure 8 which can easily be changed for a MSP430F20x2 device: www.ti.com/.../slaa377.pdf

Thanks Ryan Brown ,but I have some concern on using SCL and SDA since they are Multiplexed with JTAG connections can you please clarify

Hello Ashok,

Just like with the MSP-EXP430FG4618 you will need to utilize 2-wire JTAG (SBW) mode to only use the RST/TEST pins for programming your MSP430F20x2 device and avoid line confusion.

Edit: Also, from SLAU320 Section 1.3.1.1 Enable JTAG Access, it is possible to switch back and forth between the port function and the JTAG function by leaving the TEST pin open or connecting to VCC, respectively. So that is perhaps another option to consider.
