All distributors I checked (digikey, mouser, newark, avnet, arrow) are out of stock regarding MSP430F5529.

Where can I get a couple of these devices? Does TI send samples to Mexico?

Additional device variances and packages will be restocked at most distributors in mid to late June 2010. In addition most large production orders currently back ordered will ship at this time as well.

Hi Les or other TI employee who might know,

Can you provide a status update on the '5529 availability? Will distributors have production quantities in stock later this month?

This part has been delayed so much that my project is now stalled waiting for production. The Jan 2010 RTM changed to April then "apparently" it officially RTM'd in May even though I can't find anyone with stock even now. Based on distributor feedback and on info from the TI website, I expect your response to say late August, 2010.

Bottom line I just need the most up-to-date info. Thanks.

Hello Jeff,

As you know the F552x series of parts released to production last month. Production orders are correctly being delivered now based on the dates ordered. Currently most pending back orders will ship complete by the end of this month. This will include some inventory to distributors. As lead times on production orders have improved, for this product you can assume a 10 week lead time on new orders going forward.
