I'm a high school student, kind of new at this, currently playing around with the ez430-F2012 for a personal project, and I've run into an installation issue - my computer doesn't seem to fully recognize the USB device. When plugged in, it shows that the new hardware is "fully installed and ready to use" with no prompts to use the new hardware installation wizard, yet when I go to the windows device manager (on XP), it only shows the MSP-FET430UIF-VCP driver under the COM ports, and has nothing for the multi port serial adapter. I've tried to manually add the driver, but that's failed a couple of times. At this point I'm a little screwed because I can't do anything if it doesn't even recognize the hardware >_<.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. As of now I'm stuck on this issue.
