The MSP430FR6989 EnergyTrace++ free run always gives zero current for first sample. So, statistics always gives minimum current/power value as zero, which is not true.
I suggest to make a little update for emulator to fix this issue.

You do bring up a very good point. And we'll see what we can do to improve it.
Here is a background why the min is zeo. Unfortunately, the way EnergyTrace is designed to capture Energy through a cap. And current is back calculated based on the energy, vcc, and time. In short, the current will always be zero initially because energy starts from 0.

Or, as an option it would be nice to add CCS to the EnergyTrace preferences menu new ability to skip a few samples as they usually brake a real picture of the situation in a power consumption. In a 'free run' mode, of course, and as this mode is not linked with the code, there is no reason not to add such option.
