Error Initialising Emulator, NO USB FET found

Hi All,

I am using CCS version 4.0. The USB FET is installed as per instructions & is shown in the device manager as MSP-FET430UIF - CDC (COM3) under PORTS ( COM & LPT).

However when i try to download the program into the device , the  " Error Initialising Emulator, NO USB FET found  " flashes.

I had no problem until 3 days ago when i last used CCS.

Help please.
