My MSP430 Launchpad has no S3 button? Trying to get TDC7200EVM working.

I'm trying to test out the TDC7200EVM, and for that, I need an MSP430 LaunchPad. Below are the instructions to get going with the MSP430 Launchpad from the TDC7200EVM User Guide.

The problem I am having is on Step 6. My MSP430 LaunchPad does not have an S3 button. What do I do instead to get this to work?

Hi Aaron,

According to the "Features" section on the TDC7200 Evaluation Module web page, it looks like the TDC7200EVM was used with the MSP430F5529 USB LaunchPad, which has the BSL button as S5.

Since you're using the MSP430G2 LaunchPad, take a look at the MSP430 - G2xx BSL wiki page. This should allow you to use P1.3 (connected to S2) for BSL entry.
