Can I use the new MSP432 launchpad to program and debug MSP430 MCUs?

Hi, my MSP430G2 launchpad died and I want to buy a new one. I'd like to know if its possible to program and debug MSP430 devices using the MSP432P401R LaunchPad or do I need to get one of the MSP430 LaunchPads? I was going through the MSP432 launchpad page and found this http://www.ti.com/lsds/media/images/mcu/porting2.png but it is still not clear to me.

    No, for MSP430G2 you need MSP430 eZ-FET debugger. By the way, the MSP430 debugger and energy tracer is much more precise and functional than on MSP432. Energy tracer on MSP432 has an hardware specific error of + 300 nA (+1 uW).
