Failed to get EEM Clock Control during Download and Debug with IAR

Hello Nicholas,

It appears you are having difficulty communicating with the target board, are you using a TI-provided EVM or custom design? What connections are you making to the board? Would it be possible to provide a schematic? Have you been able to successfully program this board or any others before this issue occurred?

It's a custom board with a JTAG. When I program the board it works fine. When I use the FET with the IAR Workbench it gives me that error. So I believe it might be some settings in the IDE. If I use the MSP FET the download and debug works fine. If I use another PC with IAR the elpotronics FET works fine. Only on my PC with IAR the elpotronics FET shoots that error out. Thanks.

You can try comparing the settings under Emulator -> Advanced -> Clock Control from the IAR that does work against the version that does not, or make sure that the FET Debugger under Project Options is properly set up for the FET device being used.

Thanks I will take a look at the settings. However I think it may be a problem with the FET. I will be contacting elpotronics to see if they have seen a similar issue. Thanks.
