[CC430F5137] Unable to exit BSL

Hello folks,

I'm able to enter the BSL ok, here is the signal that I'm sending

However, I am unable to exit the BSL, here is the signal (based on the CC430 errata in JTAG20)

Other comments:

Pulsing the TEST line more times
BSL entry works because we are able to run the BSL scripter and the CC430 responds accordingly
BSL exit doesn't work because it never leaves the BSL and we know this from a solid LED in the user application

Hi Kenny,

Have you modified the BSL at all, or are you running the default BSL from the TI factory?

Also, I know the erratasheet says there are no timing constraints, but can you try slowing the pulses down to see if that helps. Maybe make all the pulses and the delay (between the last TEST pulse before RESET drops) 50uS.

Hello Mike,

Thanks for the responses. You were right, we can exit the BSL with the following signal. Please update the errata so we can save other people many hours of their time.
