Regarding ADS115 Interfacing with msp430f5340

How to enable the ADC/READY pin of ADS1115 as end of conversion pin. I have written the registers mentioned below with the corresponding values. Still I am not getting an EOC pulse. I have configured it as active low pin.

M S Byte of low threshold register = 0x00

LS Byte of low threshold register = 0x00

M S Byte of high threshold register = 0xff

L S Byte of high threshold register = 0xff

M S Byte of cofig register = 0b11010010

L S Byte of cofig register = 0b01100011

Hi Chinmay!

Your question is more related to Data Converters:

Anyway - for enabling the RDY function for the pin, the MSB of the high threshold register must be set (1)

Hi_thresh |= 0x8000;

and the MSB of the low threshold register must be cleared (0)

Lo_thresh &= ~0x8000;

And don't forget to add a pull-up resistor to the ALERT/RDY pin.

I read both the low threshold and high threshold registers from ADS1115. Got the results as expected i.e. the default values viz. 0x8000 and 0x7FFF respectively.

So if is wrote vales as 0x0000 anf 0xFFFF to those registers, this should do the thing, and enable the ADS1115 to generate a conversion pulse, right?
