I the called up Product Information Center India. They told me the tool was out of stock. I told them it was launched last night.,we got emails from Adrian at 9pm and then the server's were down. Mouser was also authorized to distribute the kit, now they too are out of stock.

I stayed up all night to order, sadly, the server's did not respond. The only time it responded, the transaction failed. Now the TI estore is up, but no use since transactions are not working at all.

TI help out those people who are not able to order online. Hope Adrian will see this.

Now India PIC is saying that shipping is $19. I wonder if TI has waived off the initial offer this soon

The free shipping option is still there at TI estore, though no transactions can take place.  Adrian has been active in this community for MSP 430 launchpad. Hope he gets to see this one and finds a solutions. Meanwhile we can just wait. The product is amazing , but it is no good, if it cannot reach to everyone.

First few days ??. TI Estore was down within one hour , when the launchpad was available. If you had seen the date of the above post, you would have understood. It was night in India. I called up PIC, India the first thing in morning. They had no clue about MSP430 launchpad. I was informed that PIC, India will order the launchpad today 29/06/2010 for me. I even have a service request number. Alas, there was no confirmation from your side, even after i had mailed them in the morning. All my credit card details are with your TI, India Team.

1 month and still Down..Product Information Centre says they are upgrading Site..:-(..it has been days..common i can do this if you want :-)..

The interest in the LaunchPad has been tremendous! As many of you experienced, so great was the demand that our current eStore platform was unable to complete many of your transactions and orders. A credit card authorization issue may also have been experienced as a result of the server response.

We apologize for the trouble and are working on an entirely new eStore, scheduled to launch in September 2010. This new eStore has been tested specifically for the issues mentioned (and many others!) and we hope you will come back and try out the new page. Be on the lookout for an update on E2E and the LaunchPad Wiki, alerting you when the new eStore is live.

If you would still like to order your LaunchPad, please check the wiki for availability updates and purchase options from TI and authorized distributors.

                This is the answer, i have been reading in all the forums. The new thing is that the dates are extended each time. I had tried to order the launchpad the very next day it was launched. The order was finally placed on July 14th and it is back ordered. I am skeptical of ordering other kits from TI, if this is the case.

I have been waiting since June for the kit and mine never came yet.

I am not sure if I would be able to trust TI any more for my developments.
