Hi,
When simply making a loopback with a jumper at J13 (RXD-TXD) I get a perfectly well functioning loopback from my terminal program.
Then when running an application in Debug mode on the LaunchPad the loopback starts lagging. Checking with an oscilloscope the characters are transmitted immediately, but the echo arrives only after half a second. If several characters are send, the first character is delayed but followed by the others immediately.
It looks like the UART to USB converter in the ez-FET only starts sending data back to the PC when a certain amount of data has been received or 0.5second has gone since the last character arrived.
When pausing or stopping the debug session the loopback returns to the "normal" operation without any lagging.
Any suggestions?
