Getting started with wlan station - MSP430FR6989

hi all,

I've been trying to use the getting started with wlan station code for a couple of weeks now. I have an MSP430FR6989 and a CC3100 wifi booster pack. Is there a board.h and board.c file available for each board or is it a case of coding one? at the minute, using one of the examples I have errors such as undefined "CSCTL0_H" is undefined and CSCTL0_L is undefined.

Any help or pointer would be great,

Hi Ciaran,

I see that the CC3100SDK only comes with support for the MSP430F5529 and MSP430FR5969. This means that you will have to modify the board.c, device.c, and spi.c files (among others) to use the correct pins/peripherals for the MSP430FR6989. The SimpleLink WiFi CC31xx/CC32xx Forum might have some more advice regarding this effort.
