can anyone just give a detailed description of interfacing uln2003 to the stepper motor while workng with msp430f5529

    Hi Krishna!

    Driving a stepper motor is only switching some portpins in the right order. Do you know how a stepper motor works already? If not, I would recommend to start learning about it's working principle first. The ULN2803 is a driver that sits between MSP and motor. Once you know how to control the motor in theory you can easily implement this on a MSP.

    ULN can be used for steppers, but there is no current sensing. When motor is not moving, current will go to max, with increasing temperature of ULN.
    Right solution is to use dedicated IC that can be controlled by msp.
