I'm trying to use the Security and update Tool 1.0.0.0. I'm using two of the example programs (ipp_bsl_1_secure_ip and ipp_bsl_1_update_ip) as a basis for this operation. I have successfully created a IP protected area and performed an update to my LaunchPad and it works well. The next step for me is to add encryption. I have added the encryption parameters, passwords, etc using the tool and generated the appropriate mailbox for the initial application and loaded it on the LaunchPad. It appears to work. It also created the XML file for the followup update process. I'm trying to encrypt the update firmware. When I select New Firmware File and select my update txt file, it displays the starting address 0x28000 correctly, but it doesn't display the length. It remains as 0xFFFFFFFF. The file looks like this:

Is this the correct format? I've tried it with and without the password. I've also padded it out with FFs to fill the 4K space. Any help would be appreciated.
