LCD_B LCD frequency configuration by Divider and Pre-scaler

Hi,

Could you please give me advice about LCD_B configuration.

In the LCD_B, user can configure LCD frequency by LCDDIVx and LCDPREx.

There are many pattern and there are some the same LCD frequency configuration.

For example,

case1 : LCDDIVx = (00111) and LCDPREx = (000)

case2 : LCDDIVx = (00000) and LCDPREx = (011)

In this time, Which is better for current consumption, case1 or case2 or the same?

Shungo,

There is no difference wrt current consumption when using the two cases you mentioned because in both cases the LCD frequency is divided by 8.

The LCDPREx and the LCDDIVx bits simply provide increased flexibility for dividing/ scaling the LCD frequency.

Of course the lower the LCD frequency (refresh rate) the lower the power consumption by the LCD.
