Hi guys!!!

I am using MSP432P401R. I want to use a serial interface(SPI or I2C) based external flash with it.

Can you please suggest me?

or provide me a link mentioning RECOMMENDED flash ICs for the aforementioned device?

Hi Prasad,

What are you trying to achieve by adding external flash and is there a specific size you are looking for? If its just for external memory, there are quite a bit of options. As long as it has SPI or I2C functionality, it should be compatible with the MSP432.

The MX25R8035FZUIL0 which is found on the CC2650 launchpad (www.ti.com/.../swrr147a.pdf), is something a coworker has used with the MSP432.

I have some data to be stored on the external flash. And yes spi or i2c interface is what I am looking for.
Can u please suggest me any?
Please note that I am planning to run my system on low voltage around 1.8V. So, if any flash(es) are available please suggest me.

The external flash is being used to store an extra image (application), for the Over the Air Download use case.
