Suggestion for 32Bit microcontroller

Hello,

Can anyone suggest me good 32-bit microcontrollers? Criteria for selection are as following:

1. Must have a compact size.

2. Having less number of Pins.

3. More than 16 MHz clock.

4. 32-bit architecture

Please look into the ARM Cortex M4F series (Tiva). Since you donot provide any more details about other facilities like the peripherals, power, as per your points i feel TM4C123GH6 is perfect. However, please consider visiting the 32 bit MCU section of the ti.com and see the Tiva family of MCUs

Yes, requirements are vague but more or less defined - compact, small pin count, 16 MHz.

You suggest 80MHz, 144-pin high-performance begemoth chip compared to most msp's. Come on.

Thank you all of you ( LazyHD, zrno soli, Ilmars, TURJASU PYNE1 ).

Ilmars, you are right. I required which have less number of pins. Because I only have to make UART connection. Because my previous controller have enough work to do. So when I want more real time Communication between computer and ATmeaga128, ATmega128 fails to achieve real-time processing deadline criteria.

So I just want to share its work with another controller which can do CRC on the received data from the RS232 of the computer and can send the data in CRC form.

I have just searched many controllers by TI. I have found 38 Pins 32-bit Microcontroller. If you have still some suggestion, then it will be welcomed .

it is OFP64, and not 144. There are a variety of packages and PMI7 in the end is the i am speaking about. If you want lesser pin count, then you cannot get 32 bit, as 32 bit CPUs willbe either ARM Cortex or MSP432

Yes, you can get 32-bit Cortex M0+ with only 8 pins and in DIP without problems. Tiva is expensive, MSP432 too.

Atmel's SAM D series is totally based on ARM 32bit Cortex M0+.

There are plenty of Microcontroller for the proper selection.

Don't know why links from my last post are removed.

For example LPC810M021FN8 is low cost Cortex M0+ in DIP8. And it is (locally) available for me (by Farnell) almost for the same price as MSP430G2553IN20.

Possibly because this is a e2e for TI and you are not supposed to throw outwards :-P
