Error while loading MSP430-txt file using BSLDEMO2 utility

Hi,

We are using BSLDEMO2 utility to load MSP430-TXT file in MSP430F1612 controller. We are getting error as 'Erase check failed'. The exact error description is 'Error check failed at 2502 (4)' . This 2502 value is same as specified in the MSP430-TXT file as @2502.

BSLDEMO2 utility version is 2.00SE whereas BSL version is 1.61 Family member: F16C 

Please suggest how to overcome this error.

    What's the supply voltage of the MSP?

    Flash erase and write operations require a higher voltage than the MSPs minimum voltage. So while the MSP is running and the BSL works on low voltage, the flash controller cannot perform teh required actions if the voltage is too low. Check the datasheet.
