1. No, these currents must be summed with the active mode current once turned on and used. These module operating supply currents are typically stated in the datasheet (ex IADC in Section 5.12.7).

2. 1.5 V is internal only and cannot be output onto a pin, 1.2 V can be output from P1.4/VREF+.

so you mean for example at 3v IADC=207uA, this has to be addded to Active mode current which is 3700uA. So apart from ADC which other modules will consume significant current that i should take care of while estimating the total current consumption?

It's only 3.7 mA maximum at fMCLK = 16 MHz and no FRAM cache hit ratio, which is the worst scenario possible except for increased temperature. You are much more likely to expect full cache hit ratio success, bringing you down to 1 mA. Current consumption per module is displayed in Section 5.10 of the Datasheet and you can expect at most 1.5 uA from the SVSH and 15 uA from REFO. You should be considering how to utilize LPMs in order to decrease your operating current.

sorry i couldn't complete my previous post before sending, need some insight into interface being displayed in 6.9.12.1 Port P1 Input/Output With Schmitt Trigger

Figure 6-1 displays a simplistic view of the hardware logic inside the IC used to control the port functions, the accompanying Table 6-14 displays which function is selected for a certain pin depending on the control bits and signals initialized.

Hello All, can anyone please let me know how can i export .brd file of into MSP-EXPG2_Rev1.5.brd ODB+ format?

The MSP-EXP430G2 LaunchPad was designed in Eagle PCB which does not have the ability to produce ODB++ files. You will have to find a third-party conversion software program or re-create the design using PCB design software that supports OBD++.

ok thanks, my main issue is that i am not able to open the .BRD file of  MSP-EXP430G2 LaunchPad in Allegro and hence i asked if there is a way to convert it to ODB+ format, please let me know a way to open this file in Allegro

I've already stated that the board file was created using Eagle PCB and therefore can only be opened by that specific software program.

Hi All, can anyone please let me know the prime difference between MSP430FR2033 & MSP430FR2032 ?

The difference is memory organization, the MSP430FR2033 has 2 KB of RAM and 15 KB of program FRAM compared to the MSP430FR2032 with 1 KB of RAM and 8 KB of program FRAM. The Device ID, located at 1A04h of the device descriptors (TLV), is 75h for the FR2033 and 78h for the FR2032. They are otherwise identical regarding functions, peripheral, and package options.
