       I would like to draw your kind attention that I am working on MSP430FG4618 experiment board.But I am facing some problem during debugging session which is given below...

    Sir,

          I would like to draw your attention on some problem regarding MSP430FG4618 which is not working properly.During debugging some problem is happening with emulator update and it is not able to debug properly.Please suggest me what should i do...The problem are given below...

    Hello Samsaptak,

    What debugger are you using to connect to the board? MSP-FET?
    Are you using a target board or a custom board for the MSP430FG4618?

    We are using MSP-FET 430UIF DEBUGGEER and we are using a custom board for the MSP430FG4618.

    Hello Samsaptak,

    The MSP-FET430UIF does not support EnergyTrace. Please make sure EnergyTrace option is turned off in IAR. It also seems that your voltages communicated to the debugger is off. Please make sure the correct connections to the debugger are made when powering the device externally and/or by the debugger. Please also ensure that your JTAG connections and circuit are in accordance to what is described within the MSP HW User Guide ( http://www.ti.com/lit/slau278) as seen in Figure 2-1 or Figure 2-2. Another possible issue is the wire + trace length of the JTAG signals. This length must not exceed 8 inches or communication problems can occur. This is found within the FAQ in the above document.
    Please also ensure that the JTAG interface has not been locked on the device.

    Have you tried other IDEs/debuggers with this setup? Can you try erasing the device with the free Elprotronic Lite-FET Pro430 tool?
