CCS/MSP430F149: Serial Programming Adapter MSP-PRGS430 with Visual Studio 2015

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

A customer is using the MSP430 Serial Programming Adapter MSP-PRGS430 to load the firmware during production.  The customer is using an own program based on prgs430.dll and pgs430.lib.  The library is no more supported  by Visual Studio 2015.

 

Are there new dll and lib files which run on Visual Studio 2015 for the MSP-PRGS430?

Is there a new programmer with dll and lib files compatible with Visual Studio 2015?

    I will contact the Tools team to see if they can help support this issue. It is worth mentioning that the MSP-PRGS430 is NRND so TI has no plans to create new dll and lib files for this tool.

    What do you mean that "The library is no more supported by Visual Studio 2015"? What changed between your working and faulty setups? Please provide details explaining your exact issue. It's possible that the wrong calling conventions are being used or a 64-bit program is tying to be build, note that the prgs430.dll is native 32-bit.
