Hi

I had read captivate touch design guide , I don't find any description of  size limit on wheel.

I want to design diameter 4~5 cm wheel .

Can I refer the MSP-CAPT-FR2633  wheel patten increase size  in proportion?

Have any detail I must notice?

    Sorry , my design size is radius 4~5 cm , diameter is 8~9 cm, can I increase patten size in proportion?

    Hi Ashley,

    For reference, the CAPTIVATE-BSWP and CAPTIVATE-PHONE wheels are about 4 and 3.3 cm in diameter, respectively. A wheel sensor is essentially a slider sensor with the two ends wrapped together. The answer to this question does depend on your desired resolution but it is entirely possible to design a 4 to 5 cm diameter touch wheel using the proportions from the EVM boards and Technology Guide.
