MSP432P401R: Production Launchpad, Timers not working

I recently upgraded from the pre-production Launchpad (black) to the production version (Red). While the timers work perfectly in the pre-production version, I can not get them to work, on the production boards, even when using the example projects. However the example projects run fine on the pre-production boards.

I am using CCS v7. I have checked for updates. The available software sites that are enabled are: 

CC32xx Device Support Updates software-dl.ti.com/.../updates Enabled

Code Generation Tools Updates software-dl.ti.com/.../p2win32 Enabled

GCC ARM Compiler Tools Updates software-dl.ti.com/.../win32 Enabled

I have no other TI software update site available.

In addition I have un-installed and re-installed MSP432Ware. I have version 3.50.00.02

I have driverlib.c v3_21_00_05 

I have msp432p401r.h with a file creation date of 2016-08-16

What could be the problem?
