CCS/MSP430F5510: Weird behavior on nested interruptions when using USB capabilities

Hello all, i have an application that uses Timer0_A0 and Timer0_A1 to generate periods for pin level driving, when this code is used stand alone without the USB package works perfectly, but if it is drop inside the USB event loop for some reason the timer missbehaves and seems like the call to the pulse-width losses thevalues of the passed variables.

any ideas?

Hello Luis,

It appears that your timer interrupts or register assignments are delayed or ignored due to priority given for USB functionality. The USB initialization could also be making changes to your timer clock source. Either way it would be helpful if you provided more information regarding the application's operation and details about the timer misbehavior.

Thanks Ryan, perhaps the take away is to double check your code, the problem was that when merging two program (ie USB exmple) and a TIRIS RFID, the TRUE and FALSE definition conflicted then the logic on the programs affected... that is in the USB program TRUE = 1 but on TIRIS TRUE = 0... duh.. :) regards
