Hi

 I was able to program MSP430F5229 through my msp430g2553 launchpad emulator. But i was not able to program msp430F5244 through the same emulator.  Does this emulator support the msp430f5244? or is it any hardware error with the board design?

    Hi Ananthi,

    I'm not even sure how you were able to program the MSP430F5229 with the eZ-430 as it is only supposed to support F20xx, F21x2, F22xx, G2x01, G2x11, G2x21, G2x31, and G2x53 devices (Table 1 of SLAU647): www.ti.com/.../slau647f.pdf

    The MSP-EXP430G2 LaunchPad's eZ-430 cannot be used to program the MSP430F5244, I would suggest using an MSP-FET or the eZ-FET hardware found on any other MSP430 LaunchPad variant.
