How to measure current of 0 to 30A using MSP430FR6989 and acs712?

We are trying to build a Energy monitoring system which will monitor single phase power of 220V, 0-30A Current.

    You shall measure output voltage of acs712 using ADC of msp430. As simple as that.

    12bits of ADC is not enough for meter. SD ADC needed. You shall use msp430fe425a or similar.

    Did you check TI meter reference designs? If not - then you shall do it

    12 bits ADC should be enough for general usage. How about the required precision?
