RF430F5978: LF receiver, RF source and trimmer capacitors

Hope you are well.

Please see below question from the customer: 

1. I have looked at SLAU378 section 24.11.3.4, is there another location where I can find more information on how to select the trimmer capacitors?  And is there a way to adjust the tuning of the antennas without using an external RF source?
2. Is there a place where I can find code examples of using the LF receiver?
3. Is there a way to have a transmitter that connects to the LF receiver using RF and a bit banging technique?  And if so is there a place where I can find code examples of this?  (Our system also uses beacons that we would like to use this part in, we need to precisely control the maximum beacon – badge range, within a few inches)
