EZ430 868 Operating Freqency Change

Hi everyone,

Sorryme for the noobish question but I can't seem to find an answer anywhere. Is the 868mhz Chronos watch able to transmit to the lower frequencies? I want to use it to open my car barrier which uses 433mhz.

    Hi Kostadin,

    Unfortunately the antenna provided on the eZ430-Chronos-868 is not matched for other frequencies and is therefore incompatible with the 433-MHz band. There are also software differences between the two solutions that will impede you from frequency hopping capabilities. You are most likely aware that the eZ430-Chronos-433 is obsolete so your options in this regard are limited. All of this information is covered on the EZ430-CHRONOS tool and Wiki pages.
