MSP-EXP430FR6989: Launchpad Modes

My Launchpad does not show the welcome message or go into Stopwatch or Temp. modes.

Earlier on connecting to PC it used to go these modes by default.

The emulator section seems to be working fine , the connection to CCS is fine and in Debug mode both Red/Green LEDs light up.

However it is not running even the basic LED 1 light up software.

Is there a hardware issue with the Launchpad board ?

    Hi Tanuj!

    Did you program the board with something you have written yourself already? Because you say that the connection to CCS is working fine. In this case you cannot expect the pre-programmed example to work because you have overwritten it.
