Hello! Can the UART be configured on MSP432 to output 0V when nothing is transmitted (idle)?
I asked this question, because I know that Microchip's dsPICs have this option in the registers.
A low signal level would correspond to a start bit, or to a break when it's longer.
The dsPIC can only invert all of the UART signals (regardless of whether it's idle or not). The MSP does not have this function; you'd have to use an external inverter logic gate, or might be able to wire up the built-in comparator as a (slow and power-hungry) one.
