Hi guys,

I am working with MSP430G2553 20 pin launch pad.

I want to use software UART for interfacing it to PC and hardware UART for Camera for my project

But I'm having some troubles in coding :(

Can you share me Source code soft UART for Msp430 G2553. I really need it now!

Hi Duc,

Beyond the multitude of UART examples provided for the MSP-EXP430G2 LaunchPad through the community and BoosterPack examples you can also find basic USCI code for the MSP430G2553 from the TI Tools & software page: www.ti.com/.../slac485

UCA0 should be used for backchannel UART communication with the PC through the eZ430 emulator, note that only baud rates of 9600 or slower are supported. There is no dedicated second UART channel available so you will have to use a timer-based UART solution to interface with your camera hardware (refer to the msp430g2xx3_ta_uart examples).
