hi,

I saw the BSL HEADER on the MSP-TS432PZ100, it includes pins of BSL_TX, BSL_RX, RSTN, BSL 9 and BSL 10

especially the BSL 9 and 10, using the JP3, JP4,JP5 to select using UART or I2C or SPI,

1. is it really support SPI when use the MSP-FET?

2. is there any HW invoke GPIO for BSL entry?

Hi Erik,

1. According to Table 1 in the MSP432™ SimpleLink™ Microcontrollers Bootloader (BSL) User's Guide, MSP-FET supports UART and I2C BSL communication only for MSP432.

2. Section 4.3.2 of the same document above also provides descriptions of the Hardware BSL Invocation on the MSP432. Please also take a look at the MSP432 Security and Update Tool and refer to the BootLoader (BSL) Configuration section of its User's Guide for configuring the MSP432 correctly.

As I'm not aware of an adapter cable to connect from the MSP-FET to the BSL header on the MSP-TS432PZ100, I assume you are using jumpers for BSL pin connections?

MSP-FET only supports I2C and UART. For SPI you will have to use the MSP-BSL Programmer. The MSP-BSL supports UART, I2C and SPI communication.

Yes there is and it is configurable, please see the table below:
