MSP430FR2311: Port Write and Read

Suppose I have written to P1OUT = BIT0 as high. on the other side can I read the status of same PIN0 (BIT0)
status after writing 1 to that pin ?

There is no PIN0 register. But if you mean the P1IN register, then you can indeed read the current pin status from it.

Sorry I mean P1IN of BIT0.
