MSP430F5529: USB for iAP2

My customer is the partner of apple and being the MFi member, he wants to use MSP430F5529's USB Port to implement a customize USB Class but will not use the HID/CDC/MSC class,

is it possible to implement a customize USB class in MSP430F5529? Any guideline?

Or is there any success story of using MSP430F5529 to implement an apple iAP2 protocol?

Hi Erik,

It is possbile to implement a customized USB class as long as the class follows the guidelines stated in usb.org and the MSP430F5529 can support that class with available bandwidth and available peripheral module, among other things.
