Please explain what you mean with bypass mode as I only understand this as bypassing the low frequency crystal with an input square wave. Are you attempting to send commands from a host PC to a MSP430FR6989 device through backchannel UART, which then in-turn interacts with the BT device? You can refer to TI's PC echo C examples (or UART examples in general) if this is the case.

Hi Ryan, the intention is to have the MSP430 + a BT
I have code that runs on a PC, and uses the USB to access the BT
What I need is to have the data on the USB pass-on (hence the bypass) to the UART where the BT is

TI does not provide such an example, you will have to use the readily available UART examples to develop a solution or find a different resource as provided by the online community.
