MSP430F5529: Any solution for USB to UART converter using MSP430F5xx USB

The CDC examples show how to implement the USB COM port; you have to program the actual UART yourself.

With CDC, no PC driver is needed.

I guess that topic question is related to CDC - UART bridge, and AFAIK this is removed from TI USB stack (MSP430F5529) examples. Anyway, (from my point of view) it was example how not to implement this.

eZ-FET Lite and MSP-FET are open source, and if bridge is present, can be found there. Didn't check this.

You can either refer to backchannel UART solutions (using the MSP-FET or eZ-FET on-board all recent MSP430 LaunchPads) or use the MSP430USBDEVPACK. I believe the MSP-EXP430F5529 also incorporates such a solution in its User Experience code.

Thanks for your comment. I know there is ez-FET solution. However, this has always TUSBxx product. Is it difficult to realize MSP itself ?

New TI FET's doesn't have TUSB, and bridge (if present) is implemented in software.
